Brunello di Montalcino Wine Day
For people who already know what Brunello is.
8 h day up to 8 guests Private · one group only
Montalcino is a little further — about an hour and a quarter — so this is a full, unhurried day for people who take their wine seriously.
We visit two estates chosen for the day: one classic name and one smaller producer who rarely sees passing traffic. You taste current releases and, where they allow it, something older from the cellar.
Lunch is up in Montalcino itself, and on the way we stop at the Abbazia di Sant'Antimo, a Romanesque abbey sitting alone among olive groves — one of the quietest, most beautiful stops in the region.
As always I handle the driving, the bookings and the boot full of bottles.
